In some rare cases, the Last Call Bartending Game will not be able to start up due to missing files on some older Windows systems. If you receive an error dialog that says something like "This Application Requires the Shockwave Player" when attempting to start Last Call, you should run the Runtime installer in this folder to remedy the problem.
To run the installer, simply double-click on the Install.EXE file in this Support folder.
If that doesn't work, to start the installer manually, you can choose "Run" from the Windows "Start" menu and type:
D:\Support\Install
then press ENTER, where "D" is the letter of your CD-ROM. If your CD-ROM drive is not letter "D", substitute the appropriate drive letter.
The RunTime Support Files installer will install two DLLs (MSVCRT.DLL and MSVFW32.DLL) in the appropriate Windows system folders. After running the installer, attempt to run the Last Call Bartending Game according to the instructions on the package insert or in the Help file.
The RunTime Support Files installer is only needed in two unusual cases:
1. Older Windows 95A installations which have NOT had any of the popular Microsoft software, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Microsoft Office installed may be missing the MSVCRT.DLL file. This problem is extremely rare.
2. Systems on which the user has deleted and manually installed Windows but chosen not to install the multimedia extensions may be missing the MSVFW32.DLL extension. Again, this problem is extremely rare.
